The popular northeast coast of Brazil has become an international real estate investor’s dream, with bargain prices and consistent double-digit appreciation in values. One village that has long been a desired location for both those in the know is Pipa in Rio Grande do Norte. Pipa is about an hour south of Natal in the district of Tibau do Sol. The village has the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Guarairas lagoon on the other.

Pipa became famous in the 80’s because of the surfers who discovered its great waves and fun nightlife. The village is also a favorite of wealthy Brazilians who vacation here and is a nature lover’s paradise, surrounded by miles of quiet beaches.

The central beach in Pipa is ideal for couples or children with its sheltered beach and calm waters. The water is around 27 degrees year around, making it an ideal place to come any time of the year. Pipa has a wide range of tourist activities: swimming with Dolphins, trekking, surfing, buggy trips, horse riding, canoe rides and of course shopping in the many small boutiques located in town.

Pipa’s nightlife has been voted the best in the northeast of Brazil. Here everyone has a good time, young and old, foreigners and Brazilians blend together in this cosmopolitan tropical paradise. This village has been a place for those in the know, and now there are several new developments going up here.

The Blue Nature Resort is one new project that is currently in the design phase and in pre-sale. There will be 31 luxury properties here with a range of spa services, all just 500 meters from the center of the village.

Another new development is a Norwegian Spa that is also in the planning stages. This new project will have 15 bungalow style apartments that will be managed by a management company. Prices start at just £50,000 for a 1 bedroom apartment. There will also be 49 detached and semi-detached villas starting at £63,000.

Just 80 kilometers down the coastline from one of the largest cities in the northeast of Brazil, the charming village of Pipa is a great place to look for interested investors.
