UK Home Sellers Put Asking Prices Up

The property selling season is nearly upon us and so home owners preparing to sell their homes start putting there properties to market. The asking prices according to Rightmove the UK’s largest property website has seen certain areas of the UK with increased house prices. The rise in asking prices is seen from North to South some of the bigger increase come from North Tyneside with a 12.5% increase down to Lowestoft in Suffolk with a 5% increase.

Billingham, Stockton on Tees. Increase: 9.3 per cent

Altrincham, Greater Manchester. Increase: 6.5 per cent
 
Greater London
 
Surbiton, Kingston upon Thames. Increase: 5.8 per cent
 
Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Increase: 5.5 per cent
 
South East
 
Southsea, Portsmouth. Increase: 5.4 per cent
 
Wales
 
Newport Town, Pembrokeshire. Increase: 5.2 per cent
 
East Anglia
 
Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. Increase: 5.2 per cent
 
Lowestoft, Suffolk. Increase: 5 per cent
