They may have announced their
separation earlier this year, but that hasnââ¬â¢t stopped Hollywood heart throb
Johnny Depp buying a luxury Hollywood mansion for his ex, Vanessa Paradis. The Pirates
of the Caribbean star has added another luxury property to his portfolio,
this time buying a five bedroom home in one of Los Angelesââ¬â¢ most famous
streets.

Star keen to keep ex and children close
The star of Dark Shadows and Sleepy
Hollow has spent ã2.7 million on a five-bedroom Mediterranean-style mansion
on Mulholland Drive for his ex-wife, Vanessa Paradis, and the couple’s two
kids, Lily-Rose, 13 and Jack, nine.
The couple announced their split
in June this year. Reports suggest
that Depp is dating his Rum Diary
co-star Amber Heard while Paradis has been linked with millionaire French
businessman Guy-David Gharbi.
A source explained: “The
relationship coming to an end has been tough on both Johnny and Vanessa. What they care about more than
anything is remaining a close family because their two kids are and always will
be their main priority.”
The ã2.7 million house boasts a
beamed ceiling, swimming pool, hot tub and some very famous neighbours. The
Sun reports that Jack Nicholson and Pamela Anderson also own properties on
the street – which was also the subject of a 2001 David Lynch movie starring
Naomi Watts and Jennifer Aniston’s fiance Justin Theroux.
Estate agent Christopher Westley
said the house is the perfect hideaway for a famous family. He told the New York Daily News: “You can be on the Strip or at the
studios in 10 minutes. The views of the city are beautiful but it’s not in your
face.”
The couple already own a number
of stunning properties including a West Hollywood house, a mansion in Somerset,
a private island in the Bahamas and a villa in France.
