Six Feet Under star sells
luxury Hollywood Hills home

The actor, who previously starred
in the HBO drama Six Feet Under,
bought the luxury Hollywood property in 2008 for $1.75 million (£1.1
million).  The luxury mansion was
once a 1933 Spanish style home with a red tile roof, reports the LA Times.  The house was then modernised by mid-century architect Hal
Levitt who lived in it as his personal residence for forty years from 1964.

The property boasts large windows
and a sliding glass door bring light into the vaulted-ceiling living room.  The kitchen features Italian tile
floors and opens to a patio with a fire pit.  The backyard pool is described in the listing as ‘sleek and
dexterous’ – a brilliantly appropriate term for a property owned by the star of
the crime drama.

The 3,525-square-foot property
also features a gym, four bedrooms and five bathrooms. There are canyon views.

Hall, 41, made his name in Six Feet Under which ran for five
seasons on HBO between 2001 and 2005.
He starred alongside Richard Jenkins and Lauren Ambrose in the drama
about a family owned funeral business.
He has starred in the title role on Dexter
since 2006 and will appear in Kill Your
Darlings
, set for release next year.

The LA Times reports that Jeff Kohl and Josh Myler of the Agency were
the listing agents while Dustin Cumming of Hilton & Hyland represented the
buyer.  The newspaper does not
publish details of the buyer.
