Hotels in Bulgaria’s Albena resort along the Black Sea have launched a promotion with prices as low as 10 leva. The prices are good through the end of August, 2009, according to various hotel companies. Price for a room and breakfast in the Dobrudja hotel is being listed as 10 leva, while several other hotels, including the Lora, Kamelia and Dorostar, are charging 15 leva,
The resort town of Albena is located along the northern Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, about 20 kilometers north of Varna and just 30 kilometers from the Varna International Airport. It is a Blue Flag winning resort situated on a 5 kilometer long beach and has 43 hotels from which to choose. There are over 100 restaurants, bars and discos to suit anyone’s taste and style.
At the other end of the Bulgarian coast near Tsarevo in the south of the country, a Spanish developer has begun work on a new holiday resort complex. The Coral Beach Elite resort will be located on 236,645 square meters of land and is a mixed-use development. There will be a luxury hotel, 2,500 apartments, retail center, sports complex and recreation zone.
