The Hotel Molindo del Santo in Benajoan, Spain has been voted one the Best Hidden Gems in Europe by the users of Trip Advisor website. The TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards are voted on each year by the site’s users and honors the world’s best hotels around the world in various categories. The hotel is in the small town of Benajoan not far from Ronda, which is about 90 kilometers east of Malaga in Andalucía.
Hotel Molino del Santo owner Andy Chapell said: “These are amazing accolades for us and our brilliant staff. We don’t know how many hotels are listed on Trip Advisor but to be recognised in one category as the best in the world is excellent.” He continued, “We are so grateful to our guests for their fantastic support.”
The small hotel has 18 rooms, a heated swimming pool beautiful gardens, restaurant and bar. The town of Banajoan is in the mountains of Andalucía and there are plenty of activities for those who want to enjoy the crisp mountain air and beautiful sights. There are hikes and walks, trains, museums and galleries and the popular town of Ronda is not far. And of course, you’re never more than an hour or so from the beaches of the Costa del Sol.
