New investment confirmed for Bulgarian property

Bulgarian property is set to become a more widely accessible investment option in the near future following the confirmation that a company has planned a number of new developments in the country.

The Lewis Charles Sofia Property Fund has announced that it has bought €2.62 million (£1.77 million) worth of land near the Pirin National Park.

According to Overseas Property Professional, the company is planning on building luxury apartments and villas which will offer access to the ski resorts of Bansko and Dobrinishte.

Overseas property investors who are interested in this development will be able to benefit from an 18-hole golf course nearby as well as the fact that 40 per cent of Bulgaria’s mineral waters are found in the area.

Commenting on the investment, Stavros Loizou, managing director of Lewis Charles, said: “The fund manager views this as an exciting acquisition that will result in apartments and villas finished to the highest standards accompanied by amazing views with exclusive onsite facilities.”
