Steady Cyprus house price increases have been putting a smile on the faces of the islands home owners and with the recent announcement by low cost airline Monarch who will be flying to the region from March 2007 means the news cannot get better.

Monarch now flying to Cyprus
Monarch is one of the UK’s major providers of low-cost scheduled flights from London Gatwick, London Luton, Manchester, Birmingham and Malaga airports. Monarch is also key supplier of airliners to the tour operating industry. The new flights will operate between London Luton and Cyprus and will be available from March 26th 2007.

Monarch have recently restructured its management team for its scheduled services by axing the sales and marketing director role held by Jonathan Crick. The overhaul sees scheduled service division managing director Tim Jeans, a former Ryanair marketing chief, promoted to the newly created position of managing director. He said “We are delighted to be the first low fares airline to launch scheduled services to the Eastern Mediterranean, a market that has historically been dominated by the flag carriers and charter services.”
