Globrix Joins The Digital Property Group

London, 21 January 2010 – The Digital Property Group (TDPG), whose websites include PrimeLocation.com, FindaProperty.com, and FindaNewHome.co.uk – and currently the second most visited of the UK property portal groups – has added Globrix (www.globrix.com), the UK’s largest free-to-list property search engine, with the biggest stock of property for sale and rent on the market, to its portfolio of brands.
 
Globrix will join the TDPG network, and will remain free-to-list – increasing its reach and value to estate agents and developers, for whom Globrix is already an important part of their media mix. Significant investment from TDPG is planned, to open up new audiences for estate agency and developer clients and to develop exciting branding and differentiated services to customers.
 
This move takes TDPG to a reach of 2.5m monthly unique users (source Comscore November 2009), further underlining its position as the UK’s second largest property network.
 
AND, the digital consumer division of A&N Media (part of DMGT plc) and parent company of TDPG, has acquired 50% of Globrix allowing Globrix.com to become part of the TDPG family.  As part of this transaction, and as part of its ongoing strategy to invest in innovative businesses and talented entrepreneurial management teams, AND will also support the management of Globrix to extend its innovative technology platform into other classified vertical markets and to provide fully hosted portals to international media partners. Globrix already powers Globrix.ie in a strategic partnership with Independent Newspapers Ireland and is in discussions with a number of other parties internationally.
