Celebrity Couple Put Mansion For Sale

One of Hollywood’s most famous
power couples are apparently looking for a larger property in the area and have
put their 4,000 square foot Malibu mansion on the market.  Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie own an
extensive portfolio of properties but, according to Hollywood Heavy, are looking for a bigger California home.

The couple already own properties
in New Orleans, Hollywood, France and Italy but are now apparently looking for
a larger California home for themselves and their six children.

Pitt – the star of The Curious Tale of Benjamin Button, Se7en and the forthcoming Happy Feet Two – and Jolie – well known
for her portrayals of Lara Croft in Tomb
Raider, Master Tigress in Kung Fu
Panda and Christine Collins in Changeling
– have placed their mansion in Malibu on the market at $13.75 million (£8.57
million).

The property is actually two
separate homes that sit side by side on the Malibu beach and boasts four
bedrooms and four bathrooms.  It
offers over 4,000 square feet of living area and recently underwent significant
renovations including the addition of an environmentally friendly second floor
designed by Christopher Sorensen. 
Inside the luxury property there is a stainless steel chef’s kitchen as
well as bamboo floors. 

The £8.5 million luxury mansion
also boasts features including a tennis court, lap pool and an outside garden
fireplace.  It also has floor to
ceiling windows overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Relocation reports that fellow Hollywood actor Reese Witherspoon is
rumoured to be one of the celebrities interested in the property and that the Water for Elephants star was impressed
by the Malibu property.
