The aim of the Brazilian association is to send a message to international real estate professionals attending the exhibition that Brazil is great place to invest in property.
Felipe Cavalcante says: “Even with this world crisis, Brazil is a safe country to invest, because it has a sound economy. The crisis did not affect the Brazilian real estate market and this could be shown during the meetings that ADIT had with Spanish businessmen, who showed interest and enthusiasm to continue investing in Brazil, mainly in Northeast Brazil.”
The participation of ADIT at OPP Live is being sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism of Brazil (MTUR), Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (APEX – Brasil) and SEBRAE / LA (Serviço Brasileiro de Apoio às Micro e Pequenas Empresas).
The Association’s goal is to promote the development of tourism and real estate markets in the Northeast by attracting new investment, for instance, the consolidation of the second residence tourism in the region.
Among its members are companies working with construction, hotel, architecture, consultants and real estate companies, such as the Pestana Group, Iberostar, Aquiraz Riviera, CB Richard Ellis, Cushman & Wakefield, being the presidency of the Association taken by Felipe Cavalcante, re-elected on May, 2008 for two more years in office.
ADIT is responsible for organizing Nordeste Invest, the largest and most important annual meeting of Brazilian businessmen and foreigners from the real estate and tourism sector in Brazil.
