Nine of the 13 beaches recommended by Conde Nast Traveller are in Brazil, one of the beaches named may not be so familiar to many overseas property investors it is at Praia de Sibauma
Just south of Natal, capital of the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Norte, is one of the best beaches in the country, Praia de Sibauma. The strand of beach is as yet undiscovered by the masses of tourists who visit Natal each year and offers an idyllic place to relax and enjoy the Brazilian coast.
The beach is not far from Pipa, a small village which also has some nice beaches of its own. It is located next to a turtle sanctuary, so there is not the development you might expect for such a gem. There are some places to stay, and when you get a little farther away from the beach there are plenty of opportunities for property buyers to find their own slice of heaven.
Overlooking the beach is the Kilombo Villas and Spa, a nice but not extravagant place to stay. It has a restaurant and is the only real lodging immediately next to the beach. Nearby in Pipa, a short walk or drive away, there are additional hotels and houses to discover when you have a chance. Those who like the waves will enjoy the winter months of June through August, which is a perfect time for bodyboarders to catch some nice rides.
