Best Western to Open Six New Indonesia Hotels

The United States hotel company Best Western International is planning to open six new properties in Indonesia in 2009 and at least one more in 2010, according to the company. Best Western plans to open a total of 14 new hotels across Asia this year as part of its vision of having 200 hotels in the region by the end of 2010. Currently, there are over 130 Best Western properties in Asia.
 
The Best Western hotels that are expected to open in 2009 and 2010 include the following properties: New Kuta Condotel in Bali to be opened in April, Resort Kuta in Bali and Premier Padang in West Sumatra to follow in May, Premier Solo in Central Java, Mangga Dua in Jakarta in July and Premier Kedongan in Bali to follow in September, 2009; and the Grand Seminyak is planned for opening in 2010.
 
Best Western’s area director Jusuf Sawirin noted that “With its strong name, Best Western will help advance the tourism in Indonesia to international level. By staying at a Best Western hotel, travelers can experience the local attraction coupled with world class amenities.”
