Madean Al Nour for Investments and Real Estate Development has signed a JD68.5 million (US$96.6 million) agreement with the Jordanian Housing and Urban Development Corporation to provide houses under the national construction initiative. Under the agreement, Madean Al Nour will construct 2148 housing units in the City of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Zarqa.
The new construction is part of the national housing initiative that is designed to provide homes at reasonable prices for all citizens in Jordan. The initiative is called A Decent Home for a Decent Living, and is being subsidized by the Jordanian Government.
“We hold great respect for this initiative, and we admire the causes it stands for. We strive that this contribution be followed by many more to come, as this involvement is our way of realizing King Abdullah II’s vision for providing a home for each citizen,” said chairman of Madaen Al Nour for Investments and Real Estate Development, Ahmad Armoush.”
