Macarena is a high-energy spirit that believes in “throw your hat over the wall, then go catch it”. She spends her life moving forward, not wondering WHAT IF? MACARENA’S CREDENTIALS: Licensed Realtor in the State of Florida USA, Certified International Property Specialist, Instructor for the National Association of Realtors Certified International Property Specialist Designation, Accredited Buyers Agent & Owner of Team Rainforest Realty in Belize When Macarena decided to move to Belize in 2004, she soon discovered what would be her new avenue for assisting both Expats and Locals in Belize. After learning through “personal experience” that the real estate industry in Belize is not regulated, she started her own real estate company. Born out of her total dismay for the lack of ethics and Buyers Agency in the Belize Real Estate industry came Rainforest Realty. Within two years, Macarena was a founding force behind creating the first ever Real Estate Association in Belize. She was the first acting President of the association and signed the Bi-Lateral agreement with the National Association of Realtors (NAR) at their Las Vegas Conference. Her mission as a worldwide Buyers Agency is: To provide both Expatriates & Locals a safe haven for Ethical Real Estate Transactions. Macarena consults for clients who want to purchase real estate around the globe and is currently one of a short list of people in the world accredited by NAR to teach the Certified International Properly Specialist designation to other REALTORS around the world. Macarena has been the Realtor for HGTV House Hunters International for 8 shows all over Belize.
