The town of Castril is 25 minutes drive away and this has all of the usual amenities including whitewashed, cobbled streets, a popular river walk, swimming pool open in July/August, tourist information centre with museum, etc. The surrounding countryside is fantastic for outdoor pursuits and wildlife watching.
