This property has mains services connected but electrics will probably need updating, and internet is possible. Parking is on street near to the property and access is by a concrete road.

It has been closed up for over 20 years so could do with someone giving it a new lease of life and re-opening it up as bar in future, or removing the bar area to leave a huge property which could be lived in or rented out, as Galera is a popular village especially in the summer months.

Each floor covers around 84m2.

It consists of –

Ground floor –
Enter the bar area which is approx. 45m2. There are two pillars, an arched ceiling, a bar with a trap door behind it leading to the basement, and a kitchen area to the left of the bar which has an open fireplace.

To the left there's a staircase and the first floor has a doorway with steps leading up to the second floor, a room with walk-in storage area, a second huge room with fitted wardrobes and arches leading to a further large area, and a third room. These are concrete floors, so they just need tiling.

The third floor consists of a pink room, a room with open fireplace leading to a blue room, a green bathroom and a small patio area which looks onto a leafy square behind the village church.

Galera is a pretty and historical village which has a school, a hotel, small supermarkets, a swimming pool open during the summer months, a doctor's surgery, a chemist, bars and a weekly market, etc.

The nearest airport is 1.5 hours drive away (Granada), followed by Almeria (1h45), Murcia (2h15) and Alicante (2h30) airports.

The coast is around 1h30 drive away although there are beach areas and hot springs at Lake Negratin which is around 50 minutes drive away.
