Cave House in Galera, Granada

This property is all about space, as you enter the gates you are welcomed by a huge patio area which has a pergola, a hand-built barbeque area and lovely views of the mountain scenery. A great place for entertaining during the summer evenings. There is a pretty stone feature with clear coloured tiles to allow light into the cave and also a shed.

You enter the property into a grand open plan living/dining/kitchen area – to your right is the kitchen with an island and large pantry. In front is the dining area and beyond that is the living area with feature fireplace. There is a light pod in the roof allowing extra light into the back part of the living area.

To the left the cave circles round with a double bedroom with fitted wardrobes to your right, another bedroom on your left and a large master bedroom with large ensuite (it has steps leading down to the bed) which has a beautiful feature shower with light pod above and coloured tiles to reflect the light. This bedroom has a small woodburner installed and a door leading to the patio.

Round past this is a bathroom and hallway leading back to the main part of the cave.

This property is in a great position, just 10 minutes walking distance to village amenities and access is good.

The cave is around 10 minutes walk to the village centre which has all of the usual amenities including a swimming pool open during the summer months and a weekly market.

It is around 1h30 drive away from the coast and there are various beach areas at Lake Negratin in Freila which is approximately 45 minutes drive (60km).
