Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are
selling their home in Los Angeles. The couple, famous for their on-screen
romance in Stephenie Meyerââ¬â¢s popular vampire series, have been renting an LA
house for several months this year, but have now decided to move out.
As a result, the Bel-Air property is now listed on the
market, reports the Los
Angeles Times, although many buyers may not have been aware of its
availability.
Pattinson and Stewart, who can currently be seen together in
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn ââ¬â Part 1, the first half of the franchise
finale, have opted to list their celebrity house privately, says the LA Times.
A private affair?
The couple, who are equally well-known for being
tight-lipped about their off-screen affair, are prone to secrecy about their
private life. Indeed, despite appearing regularly at premieres and events
together, they are still yet to announce their relationship formally, although
fans of the Twilight franchise have long assumed their romantic entanglement.
This preference for privacy has seen a raft of research from
the press into their former home. Currently held by Teles Properties, little is
known about the current listing ââ¬â it was apparently ââ¬Åbuilt in the 1990s [and]
the west-facing property sits on almost half an acre and overlooks Stone Canyon
Reservoirââ¬Â.
Property photos uncovered
AOL
Real Estate has therefore looked at previous listings to uncover further
details. The lake home, the site reports, has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and
is situated ââ¬Åat the end of a gated dead-end driveââ¬Â. It was last purchased in
2001 for $2,950,029, although has since been renovated multiple times. The
Zillow listing, which also includes several photos of the property, also
reveals that the house features ââ¬Åa gourmet kitchen, [an] enormous great room
with gas fireplace, and a pool and spaââ¬Â.
Pattinson and Stewart previously rented the property for
$22,500 per month throughout the summer of 2011. The current asking price for
the home is $5.995 million.
