This 200 room luxury family style resort is situated on 30 waterfront acres, hidden away on the untouched north-east coast of Antigua. It lies adjacent to a designated National Park and incorporates marked nature trails, a powder soft white sand beach and crystal clear bay perfect for swimming. Nearby are the historical Devils Bridge and the uninhabited nature sanctuaries of Green Island and Bird Island are only a boat ride away. The international airport and capital city are both just a 30 minute drive away.
There are two main accommodations at The Verandah: Bayview Suites and Oceanfront Suites. Each suite is a 700 square foot, single story, duplex villa with private verandas. They can sleep four easily and the main decision is which view to take – the bay or the ocean.
Antigua is easy to reach for travellers from the UK and US. There are direct flights out of London and many connecting flights through US cities. British Airways flies to the island airport, V.C. Bird International, several times a week from Gatwick.
