Bangkok The River development is one of the hottest new properties in the country and has just been awarded its second consecutive Asia Pacific Property Award. The River is Bangkok’s premier condominium project and is being developed along the Chao Phraya River, providing residents with not only top-of-the-line homes but also spectacular views of the river and city.

The River will have a variety of units for residents in two towers: the North Tower and the South Tower. The final project will have over 800 units from 1-3 bedrooms, as well as duplexes and penthouses. The North Tower is under construction and will be finished first, and the South Tower is in the planning and pre construction phases. Overall, the project has more than 120 meters of exclusive river frontage, with a riverfront podium, state-of-the-art fitness centers, swimming pools, sport courts, and spectacular sky gardens.

The River is being developed by Raimon Land, which is seeking to help redevelop the Chao Phraya riverfront as a leading residential location in Bangkok. Chief Executive Nigel Cornick noted the Chao Phraya was once the epicenter of commerce in the city. By leading the drive to rejuvenate the river, the company will add value to the area for its customers and prospective buyers.

“Our aim is to revitalize the river to its previous status, with the Thonburi side at the heart of a concept that establishes a five-star lifestyle along its banks while maintaining a real feel of community. We want to engage customers by inviting them to our show suits and inspire a new appreciation of riverside living,” Mr. Cornick said.

The River is planned for completion in 2011 and will be the tallest residential building in the city with a height of 250 meters. It will have its own private pier on the river and a shuttle boat service to the Saphan Taksin skytrain station, making it convenient to get to anywhere in the city.
