She may be one of New York City’s
most famous faces, but it seems that Sarah Jessica Parker is set to move to a
more family friendly part of the city.
The Sex and the City star is
synonymous with Manhattan but is reported to be moving to the trendy Brooklyn
Heights area with her husband and family.

Keep reading to find out more
about the two townhouses Parker is set to buy.

Couple looking for more family friendly area

The Did You Hear About The Morgans? star is planning to set up a new
home in Brooklyn  with actor husband
Matthew Broderick.  The couple have three
children; son James Wilkie (9) and twin daughters Tabitha and Marion (2).  It is reported that the couple want to leave
Manhattan for an area more suited to their young family.

The Daily Mail reported that: “They loved the West Village but wanted
something more private, laid-back and discreet.”

The Brooklyn Heights area is
popular with celebrities and wealthy buyers.
Grand Theft Auto creator Dan Houser
has recently bought Brooklyn’s most expensive property ever while actor Gabriel
Byrne lives just a few streets from Parker’s new home.

While Parker’s Sex and the City star Carrie Bradshaw
would never have moved to Brooklyn, the couple have chosen Brooklyn Heights as
it is a popular area for families.  The
pair plan to buy two adjacent townhouses and have them knocked into one single
7,000 square foot family home.

The couple are also selling two
New York properties to fund the purchase.
The couple own a property on East 10th Street which they
bought two years ago as a renovation project but have never lived in.  Parker’s Manhattan apartment at 64 Perry
Street is also on the market.  It boasts
ten rooms and six fireplaces and is available for a cool $9.65 million.
