26/03/2010-Low cost airline has given overseas property buyers seeking real estate in Krakow Poland a boost by announcing that it has opened a new a new base, and with it, a new route to Krakow.
The new route will make it easier for people to fly from Leeds airport by connecting the city to Krakow three times per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Ryanair UK, IRL and CEE Sales and Marketing Manager Laszlo Tamas expanded on the company’s plans for the Polish city: “Ryanair will open another seven new routes to Krakow in the upcoming weeks and will carry approx. one million passengers this year to Balice Airport and will be the most significant contributor to the tourism in Krakow and to the tourism in the Małopolska region”
This is Ryanair 34th base, Leeds Bradford will have two aircraft and 17 routes which will increase Ryanair’s traffic at Leeds Bradford to 1m passenger’s p.a. and sustain 1,000 jobs at Leeds Bradford Airport.
Ryanair celebrated this new base and 17 routes by releasing 1m €5 seats for travel across its European network in late April and May which are available for booking on www.ryanair.com until midnight Monday (29th Mar).
