David Beckham will hire out Hogwarts for his son’s birthday
next year.

Alnwick Castle, in Northumberland, was used as the magical
castle during filming of the Harry Potter series, and is set to become the
latest David Beckham house on the list of the footballer’s luxury properties –
albeit only for one day.

The Beckham’s son Brooklyn, who is reported to be a big fan
of J.K. Rowling’s wizard, will have his 13th birthday party at
Alnwick Castle in March 2012. The Daily Star was told by a source:
“Brooklyn is absolutely mad on Harry Potter so it will be a special
treat.”

“He will be blown away to be in the place where Harry and
his friends learned to play Quidditch and cast spells. There is nothing like
seeing where the real magic was made.”

Magical mystery tours

The castle holds Battleaxe and Broomsticks tours every day
for Harry Potter fans, and Victoria and David Beckham will hire out the
building to give Brooklyn his own private tour. Magical displays and
“Broomstick Training” are all included as part of the service.

The castle had also appeared in films such as Robin Hood:
Prince of Thieves and Cate Blanchett’s Elizabeth, but according to The Daily
Star
, saw a 120 per cent increase in visitors after the first Harry Potter film
was released.

A spokesman denied reports of a Potter party to the
newspaper yesterday: “As far as I’m aware there’s no Harry Potter birthday planned.”
