Hellââ¬â¢s Kitchen star celebrity Gordon Ramsay has reportedly splashed out ã4.3
million on a family home in Los Angeles as his career in the US goes from
strength to strength.
The Daily Telegraph reports that the chef and business tycoon has
bought a five bedroom luxury home in Beverley Hills for his wife and four children as
he is spending more and more time in the USA.
ã4.3 million Beverley Hills mansion for Ramsay and family
The 45 year old bought the
property in November and has recently picked up the keys according to reports
in the Sun newspaper. Ramsay will live at the LA property
with wife Tana, 37, and his four children, although it seems that the kids will
continue their schooling in London where the couple will retain their home.
The property boasts five bedrooms
and a swimming pool amongst large, manicured gardens. The Telegraph also
reports that the property ââ¬Ëis close to family friends Victoria and David
Beckham, who have reportedly been helping the chef find a base in the US.ââ¬â¢
The potty mouthed chef will
launch the third series of US Masterchef this
year and his brand new TV show Hotel Hell
starts in March. His first Las
Vegas restaurant will also open in 2012.
A source close to the family
said: ââ¬ÅGordon will be spending more time in America. A family home in LA means they can stop living out of
suitcases.ââ¬Â
Difficult year for 45 year old chef
It has been a difficult year for
the 45 year old after a court battle with his father-in-law Chris
Hutcheson. The Telegraph reports that Hutcheson was
fired from Ramsayââ¬â¢s company ââ¬Ëafter the celebrity chef discovered he had led a
secret double life and raised a second family. He was also accused of
withdrawing ã1.42 million from Ramsayââ¬â¢s company to help fund his second life.ââ¬â¢
While restaurant closures and
falling revenues have hit some parts of Ramsayââ¬â¢s business, his career in the US
continues to go well. The new ã4.3
million property will form his base whilst working in America.
