It’s not every day that you get
the chance to own part of a historic French castle.  Now, though, buyers are being given the opportunity to
invest in the French hotel market by buying rooms at Chateau de Rethondes, a
beautiful and picturesque country property.

Keep reading to learn how you
could own a piece of this stunning chateau.

Historic castle was Napoleon’s hunting lodge

Chateau de Rethondes is located
in the Picardy region of France near the town of Compiegne.  Just 45 minutes from Paris “the most
popular capital city in the world” the property is situated within forest land
on the banks of the River Ainse.

The chateau was built in the 17th
century and was used by Napoleon III as a hunting lodge.  The Armistice was signed in 1918 just
800 metres from the property and the nearby Palace of Compiegne features
original 18th century paintings by the artist Jean-Baptiste Oudry.

Excellent investment opportunities on offer

Buyers at Chateau de Rethondes have
a choice of two investment packages.
You can choose a 50 per cent share of the room rate or a 10 year 8 per
cent rental guarantee.  Investors
can also take advantage of 7 days personal use when conferences have not taken
over the hotel.

The castle is to be operated in
partnership with European conferencing group Chateauform who already operate a
number of successful chateaus in France.
The property will operate mainly as a conference centre during the week,
optimising occupation and room income.

The restoration of the castle has
preserved many original features as well as adding a modern French restaurant,
a jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna, gym and indoor heated swimming pool.

Nick Marr, director of French
property specialist Homes Go Fast, said: “This castle offers buyers an
excellent investment opportunity.
The location and facilities of Chateau de Rethondes are sure to make it
a popular choice with both tourists and blue chip companies.”
