The daughter of Formula One mogul
Bernie Ecclestone is spending a reported £18 million converting a mansion in
one of London’s most exclusive streets into a dream home for her and her boyfriend.

The billionaire recently bought
the £45 million home for his daughter Tamara and the 27 year old has begun work
on transforming the property into ‘London’s best house’.

Luxury home includes sub-basement and nightclub

The 55 room mansion will be completed
next autumn with the Daily Mail
reporting that ‘almost every inch of the property will be dedicated to
indulgence’.

A team of 80 builders has already
started work excavating underneath the property to create a stunning
sub-basement area.  Situated almost
40 feet under the back garden, the basement will house a private swimming pool,
sauna and massage room.

A staircase at the back of the
pool complex leads up to the basement which will feature an underground
night-club area with its own bar, beer and wine fridges, armchairs, turntables
for a DJ and a tiled wine storeroom.

The club leads onto a billiard
room and washrooms with a 7 foot aquarium.

Formula One heiress including dog spa for five ‘babies’

Ecclestone’s proposals have
already been granted planning permission and work is well under way on the
renovation.

The property will also include a
full size, single lane bowling alley adjacent to a media room designed for
watching films shown on a movie screen from an adjacent projection room.

The cinema leads on to a games
room with a poker table and a dog spa for the 27 year old’s five pets.  Previously, the five dogs were treated
to weekly grooming sessions at Harrods, although the new house will include a
dog bath and grooming area.  The Mail reports that ‘after being washed,
the dogs will be led up a made-to-measure mini-ladder to stand underneath
specially-designed hairdryers and have their coats set.’
