One of the last homes designed by the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright is now on sale in California’s Central Valley. The Fawcett House is a 3,700 square foot home that was designed by Wright in 1955 and completed in 1961, two years after his death.
The six bedroom home is located on 80 acres in the famed farming country of California. It has four and half bathrooms and a low-pitched roof with angular wings that blend into the fields and farmland.
The home is designed in a modified U-shape and features many of Wright’s signature designs. There are stained glass windows, concrete walls, and plenty of glass walls that look out on the swimming pool and gardens. A large fireplace is in the living room and there is woodwork from George Nakashima.
The sale price for the Fawcett House is a mere $2.7 million.
