It has a market on Saturday mornings and is located beside the stunning Lake Negratin which has a few beach areas, restaurants and hot spring baths known as "Baños de Zújar", where you can swim in natural warm thermal water, whilst enjoying the beautiful surrounding landscape.

This is described by many as one of the most beautiful natural areas in Andalucía.

Zujar is situated approx. 14km from the nearest large town of Baza and about an hour and a half drive away from either Almeria or Granada airports (Granada city itself is a little closer, 100km).
