This property is situated in Fuente Vera – a little hamlet with a population of approximately 300 inhabitants. It is situated approx. 15km from the beautiful village of Castril which borders the stunning Natural park of Cazorla with typical whitewashed Andalusian houses and narrow cobbled streets. The surrounding countryside is perfect for outdoor activities such as rock climbing, horse-riding and mountain biking and is close to two reservoirs so canoeing is popular here too. It is also a great place for wildlife watching, especially birds such as Griffon Vultures. There is a Tourist Information Centre with Museum in Castril as the interesting history of the local area dates back to Roman times – it also has a river walkway and lovely open-air swimming pool open during the summer months.
