Cave House in Cullar, Granada

This cave house has good access by an all weather track and offers the best of both worlds as although it is situated in a quiet location in the countryside, it is just 5 minutes drive from amenities!

It's got huge windows with beautiful views and the ceilings are very high so it is very light, airy and spacious.

You enter into a large, long room with open fireplace which has a large alcove on the right side which has been left for the kitchen area and and on the left just before the fireplace there's a space for large cupboard/pantry/wood storage.

To the right there's a hallway leading to a double bedroom with curved ceiling and a small curved room at the back of this ideal for wardrobe space/storage. There is also a small room which is intended to be the ensuite/bathroom and a large 2 door garage.

To the left of the main living room is a hallway with a double bedroom to the left with arched ceilings and another double bedroom.

The property has its own legal working well so is not on mains water.

Solar electricity is required as although there is electricity near by it is high tension so would cost around 14,000 euros to convert for domestic use.

There is great outside space and it would be possible to have an in-ground pool with the correct permissions. The 1.5 acres of land which is further down in front of the cave is covered with olive trees.

All the heavy reformation work is done but it is basically still just a shell and the price shown is for the property as it is currently.

Cullar is a historical village with all of the usual facilities for a village this size including a lovely public swimming pool open during summer months and a weekly market.

The nearest airport is Granada which is around 1h10 drive away. The coast is around 1h20 away, however there are beach areas at Lake Negratin which is around 30 minutes drive away.
