Cave House in Benamaurel, Granada

This place could be stunning given a bit of imagination.

There are five tunnels going through the hillside which could be joined up by internal hallways to make one enormous property or five properties for the tourist trade.

Originally these tunnels were used to grow mushrooms so were very low and a couple of sections do need to be machined out to give better height.

There's a lovely garden to the front with a private driveway and the boundary has been planted with trees to give plenty of privacy.

Access is off a tarmac road.

The land to the rear of the cave can only be accessed from the tunnels but there's plenty of space for a large private patio or individual patios for tourism.

Given it's history, space and unusual design we think it would make a fantastic place to turn into a commercial venue for food and wine while using two of the upper tunnels as a house and the lowest one for tourists to stay in.

It's a ten minute walk to the village which has various shops, bars and a Sunday morning market.

Granada airport and city are just over an hour away and lake Negratin fifteen minutes drive.
