There are numerous places of interest located just a short drive away and between the months of April and August the Turtles come to nest on the beach just eight minutes walk away. The Championship golf course at Mount Irvine is just a few minutes drive away. Other local activities include Scuba Diving, Deep-sea Fishing, Sailing, Windsurfing, Kitesurfing, Wake-boarding, Kayaking, Water-skiing, Bird Watching, and Tennis.
There are several small shops in the locality but the large supermarkets are just a ten minute drive.
