One UK resident who visits HomesGoFast.com is going to win their mortgage paid for one year to the value of £20,000. This prize will change the life of one lucky person for the next 12 months.
Mortgages tend to be the largest monthly outgoings for most people especially those who have recently taken out a UK mortgage.Think what you would do with the extra cash you will have for the year without having to pay your mortgage
Fixed mortgage rates have hit a 10 year high with the average deal set at 6.75% for a two year deal and 6.72% for a five year term. The move is yet another reflection of the increasing cost of finance with the £50 billion government asset swap program seemingly having very little impact upon liquidity. Industry insiders believe that sub 6% mortgage rates will soon disappear with rates set to move even higher in the short term.
Selling luxury real estate is like no other, many sellers do not want sightseers walking all over their marble floors or dipping their toes in the heated indoor pool. Especially when they have no intention of buying!
I have spoken to luxury home owners who fear that the media will be all reporting the fact that their house is up for sale and others that don’t want to be shown on the Internet. For these types of off market sellers the road to a successful sale can be a very long one but not impossible.
Fact: When you have a home thats worth a million plus the buyers is highly likely to be from out of town, out of states in fact they could be out of the country. Those serious about finding a buyer for their luxury homes need to get international exposure.

Former Spanish property owners could be dancing all the way to the bank!
Are you Owed Money?
The recent news that British property owners who sold their homes in Spain paid higher taxes than the Spanish is set to cause thousands of former owners submitting claims.
Costa, Alvarez, Manglano & Asociados the Spanish legal firm involved in the challenge is taking the Spanish government head on. The claim is being is being prepared for the European Court of Justice for what it describes as illegal capital gains taxes on overseas property owners. They firm have found that until 2007 a capital gains charge of 35 per cent was levied on property sold by non-Spaniards, despite the fact that the same tax charge was just 15 per cent for Spanish sellers.
The legal company believes that an estimated £37m is now owed to British former owners alone. What is more, they say that Brits can now start the long process of getting their money back because, they suggest, it flies in the face of EU laws on discrimination. This means that if you were one of the 4,500 British citizens who sold Spanish property between 2004 and 2007, and were charged at the non-resident's CGT rate; you could be eligible for an average rebate of £11,000.
One thing is for sure that this is going to cost the Spanish government a great deal of money , win or lose this i set to go on for years . So I wonder if you paid too much tax in this time. It seems that it is blatant discrimination but I dont want to jump the gun the legal team making the claims mnay have got it wrong?
The Spanish government may owe former Spanish property owners thousands after charging an unfair amount of tax. We all know that selling property on-line can save private sellers a huge amount of money in commission. Cutting out the agent and selling direct can literally put thousands in the pockets of hard pressed home owners.
In the US selling by owner is a well established method of selling a home. The UK views selling a property without an agent as a brave step an odd thing to do that needs serious consideration. Many UK home owners are under the impression that selling with an estate agent is part of the legal procedure to sell a home. In fact selling a home yourself is your right at anytime even when signed up with an agent. Selling a property online is merely an extension of your own marketing. Its rather like placing an advert ion the local paper yourself but a lot more effective.
Real Estate Agents
Selling with an estate agent has lots of advantages ranging from them creating your property adverts, pricing your home, showing buyers around to negoitating on your behalf. However this service comes at a price and selling online can help save you money. Some private sellers prefer to be in complete control of the entire process and selling your property yourself allows this.
Their is an old Chinese proverb that goes ‘Good things no cheap, cheap things no good’ what I am trying to say here is that the use of free websites to help sell your homes could be a waste of your time .
Why is this service free is what you will need to ask. Its true that most internet based businesses have very low overheads and automation can reduce costs. However I would suggest that some are capturing details for marketing purposes and most are not aimed at buyers seeking property for sale. These can be a waste of your time, you may be listed on the internet but your home could be sitting in a corner of a website with no chance of being seen.
