The Best Christmas Sun & Christmas Real Estate

With the holidays upon us, many people are already getting ready to travel or are enroute. But for those who are still looking for a place to spend some time in the sun during the winter months, here are five favorite destinations.

The Canary Islands is a relatively short flight, and Tenerife is always a nice place. The Spanish Island in the Canaries has topped several lists as a top winter holiday spot. It has lush forests, exotic beaches and great weather whenever you visit, making it ideal. On the other side of the Atlantic Ocean are the Caribbean Islands, with many perfect spots for both the rich and not so rich to enjoy. High end travelers like places like Barbados and Turks and Caicos, while those who want to enjoy the same sun and beaches for a little less can find great deals almost anywhere.

Australia is a very popular place, as it is summer down under. Sydney is the most cosmopolitan city in Oz and draws the most travelers, but you can spend plenty of time on the beach almost anywhere you go. Kylie Minogue has been known to spend time at Sydney’s most well known beach, Bondi. It’s also summer in Brazil, and the beaches of the north coast draw millions of visitors each year. Rio de Janeiro is still the cultural heart of the country, with Carnival coming up and more things to do than you can imagine.

Finally, Thailand and its beautiful beaches are always a good bet. Phuket is the country’s vacation capital and has a little bit of everything. Wherever you go this winter, enjoy the sun and sand.
