Madonna Divorce Down To Her English Estate?

The impressive country house and estate owned by Guy Ritchie and Madonna located at Ashcombe House, also known as Ashcombe Park, had been a constant source of stress for the divorcing couple. The trouble they experienced with the luxury home could well be behind the now warring couples divorce.

The a Georgian manor house, set in 1,134 acres (4.59 km2) of land, on Cranborne Chase,Wilthshire England is as a Grade II structure by English Heritage. The home was bought buy Madonna in her period of lapping up the English country lifestyle. Guy Richie’s and his multi millionaire wife aimed to travel to Ashcombe and spend the weekend riding, shooting and jogging.

Stress from ramblers who got their own way
The house became a source of stress for the couple as its was reported that the location was too exposed meaning Madonna’s privacy was constantly compromised. Madonna was irate about the constant press harassment, fuelled by Britain’s “right to roam” law, which allows hikers to trek across the property. The old English law allows ramblers right of way and was something the paparazzi enjoyed as well. Imagine the frustration she felt at not being able to change that law!

New religion makes the house redundant
More trouble came with Madonna’s devotion to religion Kabbalah,. The religion has an anti hunting stance and her participation would violate the basic laws of the religion. This made the hunting estate now redundant.

Aircraft noise drove her wild
The house of trouble continued as the singer was embroiled in a dispute with the General Aviation community, complaining of the nuisance of noise caused by light aircraft using the nearby Compton Abbas airfield. The rumoured recent attempt by Madonna to buy and close the airfield was not successful. I can see her hoping mad with that one!

New owners will love it
The house boasts eight bathrooms and five acres of land. It comes with several cottages and two separate driveways. It also has male and female gyms, a huge kitchen and an “LA meets England” décor.
Madonna bought the estate for £9million and is looking at putting it on the market for £12million lets hope the new owner’s loves ramblers, hunting and aircraft noise.
