Top Ten Places to Live in the US

Money magazine has annually listed its top ten places to live in the United States, and the 2008 version has some interesting additions. Plymouth, Minnesota tops the list, with Fort Collins, Colorado coming in second and the Chicago suburb of Naperville in third.

is a suburb of the Twin Cities, located about 20 miles to the west of downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. It is a prosperous community with plenty of jobs and nice housing. It offers a nice mix of being close to the city and still has lots to do outdoors, with six or more lakes and rivers to enjoy as well as parks and an open-air amphitheatre.

Fort Collins is a dream combination for those who love the outdoors and mountains and also are oriented towards a high-tech working environment. North of Denver at the base of the Rocky Mountains the city has outdoor activities at every turn, is home to Colorado State University and is a premier bioscience and tech hub for the state and western US

Following Naperville on the list of top ten places is Irvine, California; Franklin Township, New Jersey; Norman, Oklahoma; Round Rock, Texas; Columbia/Ellicott City, Maryland; Overland Park, Kansas and Fishers, Indiana
