The latest national study of home prices in the major metropolitan markets of the United States indicates that prices in the Dallas area are 3.2% lower than the same time period a year ago. The Case-Shiller/Standard and Poor’s home price index measures prices for 20 cities, and nationwide the drop was 15.9% in these markets.
